Daisy Chain

++++++++++++++++++++++++
chain of fools
or pretty flowers
now we talk for endless hours
share our sorrows and our woes
laugh and giggle about who knows
what foolishness tickles us
and binds us closer than before
through such turmoil we have come
each and every single one
with a story of her own
written in the form of poems
we say what is on our minds
and in our hearts, such fragile parts
often broken, but ever hopeful
that someday true love comes
round the corner like the sun
after a dark and stormy night
you just wait and see, i'm right
but til then we have each other
to whine and complain, to give hugs
we understand so perfectly
the needs and wants and dreams
we all share in love it seems
such an ethereal thing it is
the heart so willing to take a chance
in sweet verses of romance
