I Am

Contributed by LiveTheDream on Wednesday, 11th February 2004 @ 01:51:49 PM in AEST
Topic: oops

I’m tired but I cannot sleep
I’m stressed but I can’t be bothered to worry
I’m angry and I don’t know why
I’m bored but I have no energy

I’m lonely but I’m surrounded by friends
I’m on an ultimate high yet feel so low
I’m deeply in love but feel unloved
I’m crying out of sadness when I should be glad

I’m guilty yet left unjudged
I follow only to lead the way
I’m blue yet red with pain
I’m lost, tell me what are you?

I’m shaken yet unstirred
I’m weak but feeling strong
I’m dark as the night yet blue as the sky
I’m in a prison but left unlocked

I’m drunk but always sober
I’m pale yet red in the cheeks
I’m frozen yet I lay unthawed
I’m dead yet still alive

I’m anger at its very best
A devil left in disguise
I’m an illusion of yet a clear blue vision
I’m the sunlight, you are the moon

I’m thoughtful yet still uncared for
I’m spoken yet still unheard
I’m truthful yet tell all lies
I’m evil, what are you?

I’m useless but I’m worth it
And my life feels such a mess
I tidy up the minor details
This is life at its very best

A paradox at it's finest. One can never be too many things! :)
