Value of a Lifetime

The acheivements of a lifetime
all come down to just one thing,
and it doesn't matter who wins the race
or holds the big brass ring.
For money is just an object;
just a pleasent accesory,
and the happiness it buys
is only temporary.
In the end we're all left
with the choices we have made,
the lessons we have learned
and the plans that we have laid.
Our worth won't be measured
by the dollar or the cent,
but by the quality of the time
in this life that we have spent.
So make the most of what you have;
thats my advice to you.
Because you don't want to be caught lacking
when your time here is through.
