LostLove

This needle, this place
All too familiar for me
This isn't my imagination
You've got that look that I can see
Your addiction has come back
Once again it's hard to deal
Just because you were lucky once
Doesn't mean this time you won't feel
You hear those little words
Going on inside your head
As if you're being told
To do it once again
This time it seems
I was too late to find
You lying face down on the floor
With thoughts running through my mind
I knew this was the end
Of something you'd never overcome
A long struggling battle
Now what am I to become?
I've let the pain soak in
Like a sponge absorbing blood
There's no escaping how much pain
You've put me through with this thing called 'love'
