screaming in the dark
chipping at the block
with a chilse made of glass
and a hammer of insecurity
driven by unknown consentration
with the mettle of a fool
place a bleeding heart on every page
die a little and live a little with every pen scratch
always struggling to come out on top
never willing to let your art die
always willing to die for your art

Hmmm... powerful excerpts... your mind is looking for the best out of the best. Kind of like a band that has a number one record and is expected to do another one just the same. Sacrifice yes I agree we sacrifice our time and our lives to devote words into reason, humor, thoughts, and reactions. Great brain teaser love the metaphors excellent poetic content. |

"die a little and live a little with every pen scratch" i love that line. all writers must identify with that concept. |
