Bitter Tear

Contributed by remy on Tuesday, 10th February 2004 @ 02:04:48 PM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

the silence flickers on while
the water trembles in it's glass
the moment had it's style
the damage made another pass
and all i gave was given back
with decoration and useless fact
the moment had it's style
the underlying eyes stay black

so why do i need to look back over
all i gave is waste.
well why do i feed on things passed under
bitter stays the taste.

the soap collects the dirt
the seat carries the weight
the music lets go the hurt
the blank spot left to fate
and all i know feels a lie
just a generated cupid try
the music lets go the hurt
why do tears come out dry

so why do i need to look back over
all i gave is here.
well why do i feed on things passed under
bitterness in the tear.

what could i see
was blind for three
years now wasted in wanting
what should i see
teary sight for free
focus is lost in wanting
soon...
end coming soon...
it ends all too soon...

I can relate to this... bitterness in the tear, what a real concept. Your wisdom is poking through here, like a broken bone through skin. It's amazing to look into the eyes of the wise, for they are always glazed with sorrow.
