Sitting in a room
Trying to relax,
The sun is just backing the room to unpleasurable, temperatures
The windows open
Just for a breeze of air
Hearing people on the side walk speaking
It’s not English but Spanish
Most of them hear
Sell or do drugs
All of a sudden it’s quiet
This was strange because it’s never quiet their.
Then out of no were
Numerous gun shots awaken
While looking out the window,
A group of teenagers,
Firing guns at each other,
Like it was target practice.
People screaming,
Bullets flying by,
Hitting them,
Tearing flesh
A bullet penetrates
In the back of a head
Blood gushes from behind.
No one dear’s to go out side,
As a bullet passes a shooter,
It hits a man in the chest,
Knocking him to his back.
Cops finally come,
But their to late,
Each kid flees.
Some are left dead,
Others are wounded,
The gentleman lives,
Lucky him,
For others were not so lucky.
