I know that I can move on,
The torment once before is now gone.
Through the ashes and out of the rain,
emerges a new girl who can fight through pain.
She knows no man to make her roar,
For she found what she was looking for, before.
Now she can cherish every moment with you,
With these emotions that seem so new.
What is in the past is now a breeze,
It is with you now that this pain can ease.
Though her heart may be patchy in places,
She can allow you to let go of all her faces,
hidden behind her mask of hurt!
