In the shelter of my Chevy,
I’m safe and dry and warm.
I know that in the very worst storm
I will stay free from harm.
In the shelter of my Chevy,
Well I don’t need a home.
It is a place that I can sleep,
No matter how far I roam.
In the shelter of my Chevy,
I can lay on my seat and catch fish.
Then I can fry them on the engine block
Inside of my camping dish.
In the shelter of my Chevy,
I would never again be bored.
Too bad it’s just a wish of mine,
For I only own a Ford!
