Paracetamol Dreams

Suicide

The silence is getting so loud
As the blood drips down my arm
And onto the carpet
I wonder if there's anything left
That I should concern myself with
Except fleeing this hell hole
The silence beats in my mind
I swallow a handful of pills
And another
Feel the tablets trickle down like
Barbed wire
I don't know where they'll take me
But it can't be as bad as where I've been
The silence is getting so loud
I pray that the barbed wire fantasies
Will stop it
