The Death of the red rose

Contributed by Tasha on Monday, 9th February 2004 @ 10:04:37 AM in AEST
Topic: EmotionalPoetry

We been together for sometime now, we known each other much longer.
I've watched how our conversation have weaken when it should be getting stronger.
What are you afraid of? What is there to fear?
I keep telling you over and over my love is always here.
But why is it so hard for you to tell me how you feel.
Are you afraid I might laugh or joke? Or do you fear i might not care?
You won't tell me you love me, when I often times tell you.
You say it's a big commitment, and this is very true.
But if your such a great guy or best example of a man
you should speak more of what you can, and less of what you can't.
We're in this quote unquote close relationship, your duties are as follows
Taking care of my mental, emotional, and sexual needs, these things you will do.
I'm getting really fed up now, and sick and tired of you.
I'm screaming out to you to tell me how much you care.
But your leaving me with no choice now, I thinking of not being there.
But the love I have for you is keeping me strongly here
It won't keep me here for ever.
So if I were you i'd straighten up, or you will be alone.
My heart will continue to ache, but my stress will be all gone.
I know I can find that person that will really be true,
When the next relationship starts I'm sure it'll remind me of you.
Until he picks up from where you stopped, there will be a difference.
You name won't be forgotten.
But my heart will rebuild again.

For some reason I found this stanze quite funny...dont ask I do have a weird sorta mind explains my humor,

Taking care of my mental, emotional, and sexual needs, these things you will do.

How hard is it to take care of needs it is part of loving someone?
Heh well it was cool write, liked it and enjoyed the read, hope he gets the hint before he loses out on something precious.
Nothing is more precious than true love or hasnt he worked that out yet?
