Angel's Wings

Swirling faces, round and round
Happy laughter, what a sound

Pretend that I've got an angel's wings
Forget about so many things
Fly myself away from all the hate and tears
Erase my incoherent fears.

Dare to dream of one new place
Wipe these teardrops from my face
See the way the world can be
Hope they won't forget about me.

Pretend that I've got an angel's wings
Ignore all of these awful stings
Smile to those who come anew
Maybe they're some of a lucky few.

Act as happy as happy as can be
See all the world that I can see
Do what I can to save the world
Before all the smoke has all uncurled.
