uncertainty has chased away my smiles
with an undying stride, she trails my every mile
clutching every emotion that I ever knew
making certainty a riddle with no clue
remind me of a time when everything was bright
and pain was deeply hidden from sight
the threat of anguish became so real
there really is a point when we no longer feel
thief in a night that stripped me bare
took away all that mattered, all I care
the path split and I was pushed through
no choice, no chance, no you
planted feet on falling ground
alive in a world with no sound
the same way that a drop of blood scatters from it's objective
I saw my goals and found myself reflective
of a time when I was oblivious
and helter skelter was anything but obvious

life isn't easy, but some people have their ways of letting out their pain. this is a good way to do it.

This one is so sad but remarkably written. The end line was perfect. Kie |
