Crazy

Locked inside these four walls
Trapped here like a caged beast.
I need escape, my freedom calls
My spirit is crying for the feast
Yet Im confined to this place.
And what is this feverish cell
Its a life lived within the race
I need a break form this dark hell
About to explode, a gun half-cocked
Ill kill myself soon if Im not let free
The door to my brain sits locked
Who has the key? Is it in me?
Limited to a life I avidly hate
Longing to break these chains that bind
I need a future, this cant be my fate
Im escaping tonight; Im losing my mind.

Crazy. Out of my mind.
Crazy. The lights are on.
Crazy. But no ones home.

The free world is vast, a mystery.
Im a nobody in a world dark and alone
No one knows me, they ask not my history
I wander to the desert, into the unknown.
And as I sit at her house, bottle in hand
My needy mind has been released
I set out to explore Eliots Dead Land
My real body, real life are now deceased.
The cactus looms before me, beauty forlorn
An Indian greets me, images flash on his chest
?Welcome home, youre about to be reborn.
My world shall be yours, my sky your nest
Now come join the divine feast of friends.
I followed him into the cactus, my heart aflame
This was the beginning of all other ends
Never again would my spirit be the same.

Crazy. Ive lost my mind.
Crazy. Somewhere out there.
Crazy. Oer the rainbow.

I lie in her room, under the desk transfixed
Empty bottles surround me on the floor
They cant find me, my minds been fixed
They find my body, my souls out the door.
Im shaken. Im slapped. But I wont wake.
I?m outside their world, a darker side of town
Limitless and free, I weep for livings sake
Always ascending, none can bring me down
Ive boarded the blue bus, flying high
Leaving behind the Grey Town on earth
My new home is with the giants of the sky
My Indian returns me to a land of mirth
Where I walk on the water, nothing to miss
I pray that one day I can greet you here
And we can live together in ethereal bliss.
Let your Indian guide you, have no fear.

Crazy. Thats what they say
Crazy. Sure seems that way.
Crazy. But maybe its you.

This is a cool writing. I can totally identify with what you are saying. Much like Jim Morrison, I too trust the Indian and let him guide me. Thanks for this poetry.
