Better to Run and Hide

Contributed by norticus on Saturday, 7th February 2004 @ 02:45:01 PM in AEST
Topic: LoveRemembered

My baseball was round, it rolled so well
I put it on the table until it fell
It landed in a cat dish with a very bad smell
I loved my baseball that I'd never sell

My baseball was white, like a twinkling star
I tossed it to myself and hit it far
It broke the window in that ladies car
I loved my baseball... but not that much

jz

I loved the rhyme, the ending...I loved it all. I have a wheaties box with Rodger Staubachs picture and autograph on it. It's never been opened...I often wonder what's inside beside the wheaties....ugh!
