Never to be thee

Contributed by forever_lonely on Saturday, 7th February 2004 @ 09:00:51 AM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

Within a surging second, life secretes before me
Fallen angels bow infront, their souls unmasked immortally
This spirit of empty perspectives, haunts within the masses
It finds a lonely virgin, screaming as time passes

Silence does but ever start, as reminisent as the light
Upon this mountin top of hell, blinding from all of slight
Screaming for an ending, this virgin cries black tears
Each droplet full of yvel, falling for eternal years

Into the depths, we being from grace, into solitude
Deteriorating from our sanity, struggling the internal feud
A shadow falls across your heart, a prism without light
The spectrum has now left this world, leaving without plight

A sacrifice of blood, from a virgin who knows no touch
Given to lord of Yvel, whos power grows so much
The souls of lost mere mortals, turn from light to dark
Each virgin now turned to us, left with the prophet mark

Swallowing the world yvel moves, taking me and you
Opening its large mouth of hell, and but only leaving few
Watching fallen angels bow, at the structure that is me
Praying that the virgin lost, is never to be thee

Oh my! What a dark, amazing poem, full of very vivid imagery and metaphors. The description is so vivid that i could easily picture the scene in my mind. The ending is really unexpected! You are a great poet keep it up!
