The sense of true me
is fading into a confusion.
But this ambiguity
is delicious too.
And I think it was you
who first said
"there's someone inside you
wanting to get out."
I don't think that one got out.
I think the world got in instead.
And now my skin and my hair
and my fingernails
are all fabrics of old and new
here and there
what was, what is, what will be,
my home.....
and.....
my......home now.
And now is delicious.

Yes, there comes a time I think most of us reach a point where we feel comfortable 'at home' in our own skin. It does feel delicious, safe, cozy, and at home.
