I've risen to the placid skies
diffused amid sweet rain
I'm in the wings of dragonflies
I've kissed goodbye the pain
and if you doubt my word is true
just gaze on mornings bright
for you can find me in the dew
I glimmer in the light
I join the glinting stars by night
look close, and you may see
amused, I smile in delight
a distant memory
when laughter rings, may my voice too
when sun doth set, my eyes
I send this all, a gift for you
a message from the skies.

Nora, you've left me speechless...this may very well be your best yet. Morbid, yes, but even moreso than that, breathtaking. This belongs aside the best of the best...gah, I love it!
Truly, with CPDE's and CEGH's,

This Nora is your masterpiece. I didn't find it morbid I found it enthralling. Beautiful and I am amazed at your depth sometimes.
"I'm in the wings of dragonflies"
This brought tears to my eyes. I don't know why other than I can see a dragonflies wings in my mind and how lovely they are.
It is true you know, you are a beautiful person inside. It shows in this poem.
Loved this one----Kie

ahem... Nora... this way by far the best i have read yet. This, although yes a little morbid, is beautiful in its meaning. For some reason, the ide aof it being read at a funeral...at your funeral... that brings me to tears... what a wonderful farewell. Lets hope its not EVER soon.
