You Are The Star That Shines

I wish that I would have told you; That you were the sunshine of my
life. While you were still alive. Sometimes my mind wonders, why did you
have to die. You was only 29.
I wonder did you ever realize that you was; the rock I used to stand on.
No matter what the world used to throw my way. I could hold my ground,
because I know that you would always be around. That’s why to me, when
ever I look up to the night sky. I can feel that you are stilll around, because to
me you are the star that shines most brightest of all. You are the star that
shines.
But it stilll hurts so bad, to know that you are far away from me; all that
I have of you now are my memories. How you used to pick me up when I
was down. I’m so alone because there’s no one around. How can a man stand
when there’s no ground to put his feet on, a rock that’s strong. To help him
carry on.
I wonder did you ever realize that you was;
the rock I used to stand on. No matter what the world used to throw my way.
I could hold my ground, because I knew that you would always be around.
That’s why to me, when ever I look up to the night sky. I can feel that you are
stilll around, because to me you are the star that’s shines most brightest of
all. You are the star that shines.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Lots of deeply felt emotions contained in this. I thought it was a beautiful tribute. Kie
