I sit on the steps watching the waves
Move back and forth
In an effort to stay stationery, its rhythm flowing in my veins
The breeze blows through my hair, the smell of salt clinging To each strand holding on, the scent lingering, remaining
Th sky has faded from pink to twilight and I am reminded Of you
Your smile echoes in my mind
An ever-lingering reminder of what we share
Your kiss is still on my lips
I taste you with the salt of the sea
Forever kissing me with the slight breeze of the ocean
As the sky fades from pink to twilight, the stars appear to Decorate the evening sky
Each one casting down from above its ominscient light, Watching over all
The waves still struggling to be still as I sit
On the step with the gentle ocean breeze
Reminiscing
