In The Snow

Topic: LovePoetry

A serene kingdom of heavenly snow
It seems so incredibly long ago
That evergreens and mountain trails
Whispered to me “Love always prevails”
It lies so deep within me that nothing can make it go away
My love for you will forever stay
I want to have that year back or at least the times in the snow
For then my heart did for you brightly glow
I stand at my life’s crossroad
An owl foretells my choice
I will choose to lay on my heart a heavy load
I do not know whether to mourn or rejoice
I choose the road that leads to you
I do not know what will become of me
The moment my heart fell for you, out of me my common sense flew
My heart holds on to a misty memory
This is the life I choose to lead
My heart and mind have finally agreed
I do not care whose path crosses mine
I will love only you to the end of time
For sometimes one can only love once
You captured my heart with a glowing brilliance
For you shine so bright
Your eyes shine like the stars in twilight
This is the path I have chosen
Though my heart is broken
I chose only you
And those memories in the snow that were few
I choose to let my heart forever shed a tear
For you, for the snow and for last year

The images are grand.
It is a wonderful tribute...
The meter needs a little polish
to prevent a few forced lines...
