part three (incessant rambling)

Contributed by fallensilence on Friday, 6th February 2004 @ 05:26:45 PM in AEST
Topic: MiscPoems

the one fleeting moment
where everything falls to silence
and you're strength is tested
by you're ability to sit alone

we cannot live without human contact
and yet i'm not searching for the words to speak

i'm afraid i'll die alone because of my fear
shunned from the outside world
with only my thoughts
theres no doubt in my mind
you'd think i'd be scared
but loneliness is normal to me

i have become complacent
let the world drown me out if it wants to
because i have learned to breath without it
I have learned to live without you

please dont hate me for it
this is the only freedom i've ever had

if life is living
then kill me a little more
kill me a little faster
-cause i want to feel ALIVE
a little longer
i've been dying for so long

my heart is a star falling from the sky
a decaying of love
a star so bright and brilliant at night
that you wouldn't even beleive that i had burnt out long ago.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
