One day when my deeds are done,
I will lie asleep under the sun,
When father time has had his fun,
And my final race is run.
Though the green sod cover me,
No darkness will I ever see,
For my soul shall be free,
And cry no more in misery.
So,as you walk that hallowed ground,
Finding there my earthy mound,
Smile and know as you look down,
I have gone where peace and love abound.
