I Found You In My Heart

Contributed by TantricMoon on Friday, 6th February 2004 @ 02:34:08 AM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

Sitting there in silence
With the words locked in my heart
Gazing at the sadness
That your eyes seemed to impart
I searched inside my feelings
And I knew without a doubt
That darling, you were the one …
I couldn’t live without

Tripping over reasons
That I’d cried so many tears
At last I found the secret
That would bury all my fears
Your love was there to guide me
And it shone just like the sun
The answer to my prayers …
That darling, you were the one

With words so sweet and tender
You showed my heart the way
With loving hands and kisses
Left its beat in disarray
Now the plans to find my soulmate
Have all been torn apart
For darling, I found you already there …
Deep inside my heart
