THERE IS A GOD
I HOLD HIM DEAR
THERE IS A GOD I HOLD HIM NEAR
HE SPARED MY LIFE ONCE AGAIN
AND BROUGHT ME BACK FROM A PLACE CALLED SIN
I STILL STRUGGLE WITH SOME STRIFE
BUT, I HAVE FOUND STRUGGLE IS A PART OF LIFE
MY DAUGHTER I LOVE HER SO
AND THAT SHE DOESN'T EVEN KNOW
AND EVERYDAY THE LOVE SHE TRYS TO SHOW
GOD ALLOWS ME TO SEND MY THANKS, TO START ANEW
ALL THESE THANKS I GIVE TO GOD
HE LIVES RIGHT ABOVE
AND EVERYTIME I SEE A STAR
I WISH UPON IT OH SO HARD
AND GIVE THIS MAN I CALL GOD, MY HIGHEST REGUARD!
