Between the Earth
And me you stand
Holding my heart
In the palm of your hand.
I miss your strength
I miss your mind
I am still standing here
For you to find.
Believing yourself
Beyond such feeling
You lie there and think
Staring at the ceiling.
So afraid
To give up your heart
There is nothing to do
But make a fresh start.
