That's My Boy

Contributed by bigtig6269 on Thursday, 5th February 2004 @ 03:52:00 PM in AEST
Topic: FriendshipPoetry

We've been there for each other through thick and thin,
we've been friends since way back when.
I helped with your problems, you helped with mine,
that's the **** we did all the time.
Always there, looking out for each other,
I look at you like my little brother.
Okay, you're older, who gives a d*mn.
That's the way I look at it because that's how I am.
I helped you with girls, you helped me with some.
Yeah dawg, you know the main one.
Since 5th grade when you walked in all shy,
I thought to myself "who's the new guy?"
I figured I'd try to make you my friend.
damn cuz, look at how much we've been through since then.
You do some weird ****, don't we all?
I still got your back when it's against the wall.
We keep each other laughing all the time.
It's impossible to tell what's going on in your mind.
I don't make fun of you for the sh*t you do.
I didn't pick on you for losing Big Blue.
So what if we're not the same,
you my boy forever, and that will never change.

Ah, I'm a sucker for friendship poetry. Very nicely done!
