Damaged

Contributed by night_child on Thursday, 5th February 2004 @ 02:31:52 PM in AEST
Topic: Grief

She stands there
The world passing by
Without a smile
Without a glance

Shh
Shh
Can you not hear her cry?
Entombed in loneliness
Lost
Lost in this cruel world
No one cares now
No one cares ever

As night creeps in
The sun goes to its bed
Walking down a dirt road
Pondering her loss

Why did he leave her?
Leave her lost
Afraid
Leaving her without someone
To hold her in their arms

Nothing is ok

The simple trees
Swaying in the breeze
It used to mean so much
The beauty they withheld
But now just brings back memories
More pain
No joy is being felt

The simplest of words
Could save her from this curse
But bittersweet is the love from men
So dead she soon will be

The blade falls to the ground
Blood gushes
Gushes from the gaping wound
Within her broken heart
A body without life
Lays upon the floor
Gone are all her feelings
Gone is her young life

Now the world can see
Now he can see
The damage thats hes done

I can relate 2 this in many ways but there is peace in 4-gives.....at age 50 I faced that fritened little girl myself.
the uncle that took my innocense long ago blew his own brains out. Irember him raping my sister in front of me but 7 years ago the flasbacks started, his spirit was in unrest and I had 2 deal with it 2 free my own spirit. I have no hatred now as I see it 4 what it was..,,It was passed down generations but thank God that curse has been slain by the blood at carv'ry.......Killing yourself win b 2 admit defeat . U can b a surviver as well as anyone can. U jus gotta keep writing, writing, then one day u'll turn around and realize that u've been healed as u let go of the anger.....
U've really created a masterpeice here by getting it out......like someone told me, on thru the light, there's peace......slay the demon and live jus 2 **** him off!
luv, hugs, strength, peace, joy, free,
emy

'A body without life
Lays upon the floor
Gone are all her feelings
Gone is her young life'
Then suddenly, an angel appears, softly he whispers, and the night breeze blew through her body and mend that gaping wound, and ho! the broken-heart is healed! slowly the girl wakes and sit herself up, finding in front of her, the loving face of angel, 'everything will be okay now..... no more tears... no more pain...' Watch his smile, the girl smile too, once again, she stand tall.... grab hold that blade she go stab that 'he' man! (ok ok, just kidding! hahaha!^_^) *a-hem* ..... she regain her joy, and live happy ever after....... (that is better!^_^)
Hehehe, hows this sound?
