You Crashed

Contributed by Exodus-On-Life on Thursday, 5th February 2004 @ 01:55:17 PM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

You came back to me
Crashed in through the door
Threw me up against the wall
And left me, bleeding on the floor

You picked the wrong time
To keep us all under agony
Picked me up off the ground bleeding
Whispering your blasphemy

Your echoes of remembrance
Stole from my eyes of dismay
I'd like to tear your heart out
Crush it through my fingers in an ugly way

Your calls remain unanswered
You made me lose my page
I'll torch my book with sorrows
Remember the promises we made

Not sure where we like you
It's not as we destroyed ourselves
You took from me forever
And I searched for no one else

You came in through the door
Saw me breathing slow
You chose to save me oxygen
Then I chose for you to go

Repay the debts thereafter
I'm winning on my knees
You crashed in through the door as always
And I'm lying here on the ground, the one who bleeds

Your pastels of darkness paint some glimmer of hope, I like that. Good stuff you got here.
