On one early September day
Our protective walls got pryed away
Every soul throughout the nation
Watched with sorrow, anger, and frustration
At first it seemed so unreal
But soon the effects we all did feel
Our lives changed that awful day
But we grew as a nation in every way
We saw that people everywhere
Lent their hearts and joined in prayer
This is to those who caused our pain:
We lost alot but had much to gain
You see you can't break our strength together
I say this now always and forever
Lets not forget this tragedy
We will overcome this wait and see
Nothing can bring back the ones we love
But reality we have to get a hold of
We need to stay strong and help each other out
Banish fear and have no doubt
This isn't over we shall not rest
Eliminate evil the ultimate test
