You bleed for me your words,
And abuse me with your thoughts.
You control me with your power,
And never let me out.
You keep me in the dark,
Locked up and out of site,
Tell me I’m the only one
That will make your life complete.
You say the others aren’t good enough
And I’m the only one for you.
But then you turn around and say
I’m never good enough.
You hit me with your emotions
Then take them all away.
You beat me with you strength
‘till darkness fades to day.
Then you tell me you’re so sorry
You didn’t mean for it to get this way.
You bleed for me your words,
And abuse me with your thoughts.
You control me with your power,
And never let me out.
What if one day I am to be free,
Then what will you do?
Will you bow down and cry
As you pray I’ll be by your side?
Or will you just explain to me
That your heart just isn’t complete?
It doesn’t matter anyway,
I know it’ll never be,
Because without this thing that you call love
I wouldn’t know what to do.
So bleed for me your words,
And abuse me with your thoughts.
Control me with your power
Never let me out!
