Angel's Screaming

Contributed by Cobalt on Thursday, 5th February 2004 @ 12:19:06 AM in AEST
Topic: oops

*Softly spoken*
Can't you hear it?
I really hate you.

*Screamed*
I can hear it now
as the angels scream
insanely tearing at my soul.
You see me standing
here again in your head.
Make me better so
you can kill me again.

Dementia strangles me
as angels shriek.
Bring your hate to me
let me swallow it all.

I can taste myself,
my insanity on your lips.
I push away as I
start to lose myself inside.
On my knees I drink
from slit wrists.
Trying to die in
your shadowed heart.
I can hear you
screaming in my head.

Raven's Sin

I hope this ends our little quarrel about who is the better poet since after this anyone who says I am speaks folly.
Jeff this was the most brilliant poem I have ever read from you I think.
Dementia strangles me
as angles shriek.

and...
On my knees I drink
from slit wrists.

That was just AWESOME I can't think of ne more synonyms so I'll go read it again...

Dear Jeff,
My blood curdles, as you drink yours.
I also think you are a very good poet.
But your writes scare me to death.
I guess I'm just too old to handle all the blood
Suppose?
Love,
consue

I don't understand how you don't have the world's biggest ego by now... lol... with all this endless praise. You must be some sort of poetic genius. Makes me wonder about the thoughts that run through your head on a day to day basis. Must be interesting up there. LOL. Needless to say, another amazing, splendid, chilling write. Awesome, what else can i say??

I liked this one. As I was reading it I felt like I had felt that way before. Weird, I know. Kind of unexplainable. The ending, brilliant. Kie

Geeze I just read this after 'roses in her hair' lol (sorry not laughing about the poem) it's just that it's funny how poeple change attitude depending the situation. Now on a more serious tone......this poem is great, the wording is really suggesting and the result is really ummm raw sort of freaky and uncontrolled........simply loved it ;)
