He places her on his pedestal,
Of fragrant rose buds,
Blessed by her voluptuous air,
Nestled in sweet elegance.
He kneels before her,
To worship her bare bones,
She sits like a Goddess,
Aphrodite with eyes of gemstones.
Black lashes lay softly
Against blushing red cheeks,
Embellishing her loveliness,
Flirting with her mystiques.
Make no mistake
You men of lust,
She is not forgiving,
And she does not trust.
Her blood has been poisoned,
And she is no more.
She is only an image,
For you to adore.

Ah, if only more men could worship more than vain beauty. There are many more virtues to a woman than her beauty. |

I don't think ALL men do that. For one, there's me. I don't think I'll ever fall for a woman because of their looks...
Why are guys so...erm, hormonal?

How very realistic this poem, and the society we live in today. Is very true woman are used, and many have blood that has turned cold. Some are smart, but too late...to stop their evident fate. What a terrible injustice this is for woman, but I would profess......don't let this happen again, and again, once is enough!
what a great write............right on!
