Quiet

Contributed by corbin286 on Thursday, 5th September 2002 @ 08:51:37 AM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

Quiet is the world,
Through the eyes of the truth
Quiet is my soul as I watch him with you
Trusting his arms as you once did mine
Quiet is my pain as the light seems subdue
In the dark of the night, I'm no longer blind
You leave me there in the frozen shadows
Frozen in time finding nothing sublime
In the heart of content, where is thy heart
Icy hints hush soft lust
Smile to the past that never was
Lying cold trying to find trust
Left behind in the lover's mind
Torn hearts lost souls waste away with time
Once was something, what is now?

For some reason these lines seems very familiar. They touch me, as if they came from my own lips.
