FIVE HUNDRED AND TWO!

Contributed by Robert_Edgar_Burns on Thursday, 5th September 2002 @ 06:55:55 AM in AEST
Topic: HumorPoetry

Me oh my dear what did I do?
I've suddenly written five hundred and two.
I must have been writing for a very long time.
I don’t know how I do it, each page comes out rhyme!

My oh me dear just what do you see?
When you look at this list , well do you believe,
That each word on each page was written for you?
I don’t have any money so it’s all I can Do!

You , oh you dear have been my whole life.
I have no regrets and I don’t feel any strife.
If I had to do it all over again,
I’d take the challenge if I could still be your man.

Oh yes, oh yes
At five hundred and two,
There’s a million more coming ,
And they’re all about you!

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
