China Mask

There are two faces to me
the one that you see
and the one that I really am
you never see the real me
I'm more complex then you think
I show you what you want to see
while inside I grieve
I hide myself behind this frail china mask
dont get too close
the mask may crack
and the real me may show
is that really what you want to see?
do you even know that this mask isn't the real me?
there must be limits to your sight
like there's limits to how much pain I can take

At the top, you say you don't know if I like this one, but I must confess that I do. You speak the truth about yourself, and your emotions. You are real, and that makes this poem good. Definitely a keeper!
