in yesterdays heartbeat

Contributed by ladyfawn on Wednesday, 4th February 2004 @ 05:51:01 PM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

one heart who holds a love not blind
in yesterdays heartbeat i'd leave to find,
for all the loving in this world
is naught without one's soul unfurled,
to light my life as sun streaks in
i wonder how i wonder when,
my love was lost in waterfalls
cascading to this forest floor,

my body yearns as solitude blows
to share this feeling of loves chateau,
my heart it longs and endless seeks
one tender echo which does bespeak,
as deeply silently as within my soul
that breath of hope, a gentle call,
to take me where i do belong
whom is it sings this calming song?

for one love to live in harmony
breathe his breath as he breathes me,
hopelessly romantic heart dissonant
song of harmonically unresolved lament,
i'd give my world to one such as this
yet my melancholy heart is still amiss,
so where is her love this soul to grant
returning loves kisses to enchant?

one heart who holds this love unblind
in yesterdays heartbeat he'd leave to find,
my arms for all the loving in this world
peaceful place for two souls unfurled,
we'd light this life afire as sun streaks in
not wonder how nor wonder when,
that love was lost in waterfalls
cascading to our forest floor!

This to me is what poetry is all about.

"that love was lost in waterfalls
cascading to our forest floor!"

The ending was magnificient. Kie

Seldom does a write leave me speachless, there is nothing I could say to describe the beauty of this. Your pen is magic, and your heart is gold.

If only I could write as beauitful as you,
Maybe my poetry would seem more true,
Your words form a maze, they leave me to gaze,
Upon the work of a poet so loved, so true,
Your poetry is like the sky so peaceful and blue,
The more I read the more I'm proud of you.
