Drug addict

Topic: EmotionalPoetry

dedicated to Jessica Marie Johnson rest in peace baby sister.

She sits in the window of her room
Looking at the drugs that she has in her hands
Wondering if she should take them.
She picks up the needle and spoon that she has.
Turning the drugs to liquid.
Placing the band around her arm
She take the needle and pushes it into her arm
Feeling the relief in her body.
Listening as her parent's bang on the door
Calling her a drug addict.
She sits there wanting to just jump out that window
and into the pool below her.
She just sits there in the room with the drugs next to her
Believing that her parents loved her once upon a time
Before she became a drug addict.
She sits in the window of her room

it's good, and i'm so sorry for your loss, but how can you be sure that's what she was thinking. i mean she might have been full of so much greater darkness, but no one will ever know.
