One day, multiple crimes
One life ran out of time
One heart filled with pain
One body with nothing to gain
One child lost and alone
One voice that's all but a moan
One word tries to escape
One soul takes shape
One tear falls
One smile calls
One glance above
One person shows love
One hand reaches out
One look of doubt
One thought turns to dust
One child learns to trust
