No Talent Is Needed

Contributed by TheCheshireKitty on Tuesday, 3rd February 2004 @ 02:57:16 PM in AEST
Topic: SongLyrics

When the world is passin' you by so fast
it's hard to tell what's real
what's gonna last
the people here all seem so conceited
their faces are pretty does that mean that no talent is needed

People look at me and scream
shows me everyday that I'm living my dream
but when I wake up
who will be there?
I sing of ur beautiful soul and not ur pretty face
beauty's only skin deep
within ur eyes a maze
lucky to have both
I realize the unseen

When the world is passin' you by so fast
it's hard to tell what's real
what's gonna last
the people here all seem so conceited
their faces are pretty does that mean that no talent is needed

The substance of music has faded away
No one stands out
They are all shades of grey
their only worry is about how much they'll get paid
so I'm tellin you my friends don't give into the trends
you'll get lost in the sea and there's no shallow end

When the world is passin' you by so fast
It's hard to tell what's real,
What's gonna last
The people here all seem so conceited
Their faces are pretty does that mean that no Talent is needed

No I'm not perfect and I like me this way
Some time I'll find some one who feels just the same

This is a little confusing but once you figure it out it reveals the beautiful meaning behind it and i think you have a great peace of work here.
