What is drama?
Does it have any value?
I think it means trauma
And just leaves us blue
Why, when you don’t want something
Do you have it in abundance?
I’d rather be bleeding
And have drama’s absence
It’s synonymous with pain
And lingers around
It wants to stay
And tear you down
I’d rather life be boring
As once it was
Before all the whoring
And all it did cause
All I can try
Is turning my back
To no longer cry
And endure the attack
Once I have paid
And gotten through it
To rest, the past will be laid
I’ll never again revisit
This path that I’ve followed
Somewhere doubled back
It’s time that I slowed
To find the right track
For down this road
Is pain and heartache
You must pay what is owed
What you’ve given, you must take
When you find the split
Choose the right direction
Maybe drama you’ll quit
And find resolution

Well isn't that the truth. Nice work and play on words. |
