Right out of the darkness
You’d never go astray
You are ready to die
For the safety of this country
And for that my love
You need a soldier’s heart
But what about me
Quite frankly my dear
This country doesn’t care
About you at all
I do, but you’re not with me
Here is where you belong
Not where you rest now
How could you forsake my love
Why would I be so foolish
How could I love you so much
Yet hurt so badly
How could this feel so wrong
Why do I want to forget it all.

Believe me, your man wants nothing more to be home. Stay faithful. |
