I remember that tree by wall
How it towered so high and tall
The apples always tasted sweet
Nothing but silence and my heart beat
That tree is were we feel in love
The apple fell from above
It landed in your lap with care
The wind blew your soft hair
I held you in my arms that day
I wish we could forever stay
Upon that field where the sky
Had a light that would not die
I remember your kiss of our love
You felt to me soft as a dove
I wish to god I could stay
By that tree so far away
The times ended and went away
To this place that has no day
Wait for me my heart
Nothing will make us part
Our love will always hold that day
In the field so far away
Under the tree so strong and tall
By that old stone wall.
