Fate vs. Destiny

"I shall not fear", she muttered under her staggered breathing. "Fear is the mind killer. I shall let it pass in and through me, then only I shall remain." It took almost all of her training to sustain herself from shrieking. She could feal it flowing in her blood, running down her spine, chilling her to the core as memories of her childhood were called to haunt her, caressing all visions and nightmares of what once was, which were never meant to leave the past. Her heart cried out for some confort, some solace in her dying hour, but nothing could grant her peace. "I have forseen this", she moaned while removing her sword from it's sheath. "I have to face what was meant to happen..." She knew that nothing she could stay or do could not stop this from happening. She could not stop fear from consuming her in her last minutes. At this point in time her training was useless and ill - conceived. Her life was forfiet, and she knew it well.
She peered through the long and whispy grass hoping and praying to see nothing but fantasy, but it's face forced her to clasp onto her dream. "I cannot let it happen this way!!!" she shouted defiantly, "I simply cannot!!!" She held the blade with all her might making sure that it would not slip through her sweaty palms. She thrusted the blade above her head but before the stroke could fall, it was to late. She had been taken...
