I Cannot Move

Contributed by SensitiveSoAbused on Monday, 2nd February 2004 @ 06:43:06 PM in AEST
Topic: psychoticpoems

I can see your sleeping form.
Forever I have awaited this moment.

I sidle up to your bed, my love,
and gaze at your lovely features

So beautiful...

Quietly, so as not to wake you,
I place a single red rose
on your bedside table.

Your chest rises and falls as you breathe
I smile... you warm my heart, dear.

Slowly, I extend my hands to your pillow.
I run my fingers through your hair,
and caress your smooth opaque skin.

And then everything goes wrong.

Your hair sticks to my fingers,
tears out in bloodly matted clumps.

The skin slides from your face with a wet sucking sound.

I recoil in horror.
Underneath, there is no muscles,
no tissue.
A putrid black substance
covers your face,
oozes to your pillow.

Your teeth show white.

What have I done??
My hands are shaking,
acid tears burn deep rivulets down my face.

And then you open your eyes.
They roll wildly
as your hands grope your face,
your head.

You flail madly, and your hands find my body,
smearing my my shirt with repugnant slime
and hair.

You, your eyes,
are still for a moment.
They rest on me,
and I want to vomit.

"NO."
you say,

"NO!!"

I cannot move, speak.
I only stare... horrified,
confused.

Your hands move to your eyes.
As your bony fingers
plunge deep into your eye sockets,
you tear your eyes out.
Blood flows from their fleshy abandonments,
down your seeping face...

"You had to **** sh** up, DIDN'T YOU?"

You scream at me;
I cannot move.

"Oh, things were fine until now..."

until now
until now
until now
until now
until now
until now
...

Oh, but now...
You are unmasked.

I turn to run...
and my head explodes...

I,
A victim of your love.

this was ***** sweet man. I loved this morbid tale. Came across with hints of Poe and Cancer attached to it, but with the definite stamp of SensitiveSoAbused!!!!!!! Way to go man.
