I used to wonder why; You used to work so long and hard. To give me
all of the things; That you never had.
I can remember the day when I asked you why, and on that day; you
looked deeply into my eyes. Then you said to me; that I was your legacy.
The only thing that you had to leave behind, to show the world. That you was
here, and then your tears. And then I saw your tears.
Now that I know why; That you worked so hard. I feel so bad about all
of the bad thoughts. That I had of you. Now that I know that none of them
was true. I used to think that you didn’t love me. I used to think that you
didn’t care, but you trying to make sure. That I had my chance throughout the
years, to become something good. Now everything is understood. Something
within me changed on that day that I saw your tears.
I can remember the day when I asked you why, and on that day; you
looked deeply into my eyes. Then you said to me; that I was your legacy.
The only thing that you had to leave behind, to show the world. That you was
here, and then your tears. And then I saw your tears.
