Oh How I Remember

Contributed by starlight_dancer on Monday, 2nd February 2004 @ 10:09:59 AM in AEST
Topic: Grief

Oh how I remember her love so dear,
Those memories continue to haunt my mind,
The memories are all still so clear.
Thinking of others, she was always so kind.

Oh how I remember the time she gave,
How she listened and how she would care,
If something went wrong, she was so brave
No matter what, she was always there.

Oh how I remember the day she died
The way I sat and talked to God in prayer
How I remember we sat there and cried
We sat in total disbelief, was this really fair?

Oh how I wonder about that day she went away,
How I wonder what the future will hold.
Knowing and believing I’ll see her someday
Waiting, and watching the clock for time to unfold.

Lovely work.I remember the feelings of emptyness when my grandfather died.
Like any loss it gets easier to bear in time.
I'm sure she is looking down on you and is moved by this tribute

In heaven you'll see her
That hope keep strong
God took her to Him
And He's never wrong

Keep loving her memory.
Take care.
