It was a night like any other
Nothing much seemed out of place
But something here was missing
Somrthing gone without a trace
I searched and I found nothing
But what was it I sought
Was it mine or someone else's
A treasure found or idly bought
A sadness overcame me
Wasn't sure what I was feeling
Knew I needed this thing badly
But just what was so appealing
I reached into my soul
As I lay awake and crying
Sorting through my pain
Dear God I felt like dying
Then my eyes they shifted over
You weren't at my side
It was you that disapeared this night
Somewhere the oceans cried...
