-------------_________-------------

Unknown is your fears
Unknown is your heart
Unknown is your sanity,
Unknown is how your pain rips through every pore
On your meagre and unattempted body from that
Scarred moment in your life that has led you
To this moment that now stands before you as
A dead man killed from a bullet of your weapon
That you purchased for yourself but a few months
Ago to relieve yourself of your life that is so unknown.

Unknown is your security
Unknown is your horror
Unknown is your dellusional psychosis,
Unknown is how you stand in line and imagine how easy
It would be to reach over the counter and rip
The emotional fortitude from the cashier as they
Snide you a remark that you've heard several times
But never paid attention to because you've lived
A depressing life and have no will to live
In a world that is so unknown.

Unknown is I
Unknown is You
Unknown is the creator of this mind
Unknown is the reason for the writings of this
Ramblesome youth that feels that he would
Be better off with nothing in his persona
And no one to care whether he left this world
And showed up upon the existence of another plane
In which he would not be so...unknown...

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
