Emotional Nakedness

Contributed by Jason_Robert_Britt on Wednesday, 4th September 2002 @ 06:49:31 AM in AEST
Topic: ChristianPoetry

Emotions reposed
Nakedness exposed
For all to prejudge
Condemn and begrudge

With twisted sweet tounges
And poisoned black lungs
Taste blood on your lips
Lovers of gossip

Live well hypocrite
Your live indignant
Live pious villans
Live decietful friends

Construe your judgements
Piously repent
The truth is written
Than all man will sin

they seem to forget what is written in their
holy bible

I liked this and so true religious ppl are some of the biggest hypocrites out there. Great poem and great imagery.

Bravo, Jason!!! Love is the most important thing that we as Christians can do, yet tough love often calls for words that aren't always complimentary. We hope for them to be tactful in their 'constructive' criticism and nurturing. I think, Jason, that you will receive alot of 'judgmental' statements just because your strong use of language will be misunderstood. I, myself, am a very passive person who shys away from confrontational communication between people, yet I know there is a place for it. By the way, I believe there is a big difference between religious persons and those that are true believers within their hearts, however, God might be the only one that can know the difference.
So be forgiving, please, to those who judge you too harshly. We are all a work in progress. Love, Bizzy
